Is decapitalize a word? I object!
Good eye (as they say on the ballfield)! Chicago Manual would never use it--they'd say "set lowercase." This came from a style wannabe.
I'm motivated: All my sense of self-worth comes from finding mistakes in text. Editing is such a harsh taskmistress.
