Like father, like daughter. Kansas City, MO, pictures before the recital, c. 1968. I think this is the year my dad is in Vietnam. I imagine him getting this picture in the mail, if it wasn't confiscated like some of our other packages to him, and I picture it making him happy.
I think the thing I miss most in my life is dancing. That and my 1980s-era dancing body.

Indeed. Look at you! The idea of your dad receiving that photo in Vietnam is pretty moving. We used to send my Uncle Jim care packages that included KoolAid. I distinctly recall thinking that he'd be so happy to get the KoolAid. Little did I know.
