It was interesting flipping on the television yesterday after I'd read of Falwell passing away. On CNN, the daytime broadcasts are full of people writing in emails and the anchors respond or read a few notes aloud. With the Falwell news, one anchor had to backtrack after he'd gone live to a reporter then returned to the studio and said, "We've been getting emails ever since this news came out and some of them are even passing along condolences."
